Annalisa Monticelli is born in Altamura, near the city of Bari, in Puglia. Since she was a child, she was fall in love for the horses. Annalisa has started her life with horses, working in Dressage. Later on, after the read of the book ‘’The Black Stallion’’, written by Walter Farley, her love for the horses has turned into the Desert Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse. So she has started to study, intensely, the story of the Arabian Breeding in the desert, with the tribes, and the story of the pedigrees and the phenotypes of the Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses. At the same times, her love for the Arabian Horses showed itself through the art of painting. In fact, Annalisa has take part in many art exhibitions. After some years, at last, she and her husband has founded a small stud-breeding based only on one dam line, the dam-line that Annalisa loves more: the Dahmah Shahwaniyah family. At this moment she has three young representatives of this family, and she is always looking for new, right, additions. Like she add, sometimes: ‘’If you want to breed the dream- horses, you have to wait, for searching news foundations, because great breeders doesn’t sell super mares, at ‘’human-prices’’, but you have to wait the baby- daughters of these very special mares !!!!’’Annalisa has selected this family of horses because it sums up, in a true phenotype, her first concept of balance and harmony of horse- body: the beauty is balance, the balance is symmetry, and the symmetry is the classic-look of a beautiful Arabian Horse. She doesn’t like the modern –extreme show horses. The true Arab horse has to be perfect in his symmetry and balance: not at all a distorted head on a pony-like body! But the most important feature in her horses is the correct disposition on work with people. If a horse doesn’t want to collaborate and doesn’t like to work with people, this horse is sold out.
